The Pudong Campus project of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine aims to "inherit history, revive modernity, and face the future". It is a strategic decision made by the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Government to accelerate the construction of Jiao Tong University School of Medicine into a world-class medical school. The project is located in Pudong New Area International Medical Park, with a construction area of 120000 square meters, including 14 above ground individual buildings such as student apartments, comprehensive sports halls, canteens, and basements. Currently, apartments 1-4 have completed structural topping out and are expected to be completed and put into use in 2024.
